Where are you located? In Oceana, beautiful Virginia Beach, VA.
How many people can you help? We currently have 4 beds for females and 8 beds for males.
Are there people you do NOT accept?
· Registered sex offenders
· Violent offenders (case by case basis, depending on the charges)
· Prescribed narcotic medications.
What does it mean that you are “faith-based?”
We use the 12-steps and attend Iron Horse Fellowship.
What activities are involved?
Mentoring, Peer Recovery Groups, Substance Abuse Treatment Groups, AA/NA meetings, Job Searches.
How do we make payments?
We accept cash, personal checks, money orders and major credit cards. We do not take insurance.

Our team of highly skilled Interventionists have a wealth of experience. Our compassionate, yet direct approach gives suffering families a reliable and sturdy foundation to begin anew and find proven, workable solutions in what is often life and death circumstances. We believe in working with the family in building long-term relationships toward success.
How are Houses Directed?
The program is staffed by experienced coordinators who mentor our residents.
Where do you FIND YOUR residents?
Family Referrals: We receive people whose families are looking for a structured environment for them.
Incarceration: We take referrals jails and prisons after a thorough interview process.
CSB: Local Community Services Boards including Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
Where are Your Houses Located?
Located in the Oceana area of beautiful Virginia Beach, Virginia. We have numerous therapeutic communities and are constantly growing.
What Programs Are Offered?
Participants are required to attend recovery meetings and substance abuse treatment groups. Substance abuse treatment is provided for people with DUI, drug possession charges, and other substance abuse related issues. We participate with Chesapeake Bay ASAP and are Community Corrections and Pretrial approved.
Are Meals Provided?
Some are, but residents are encouraged to have family bring their favorite foods. We receive food donations from various sources.
What Do YOU DO ABOUT RELAPSE?
We believe that a relapse is a call for a higher level of services. We cooperate with probations and any other agencies involved and seek to refer to
WHAT IS THE CRITERIA FOR ENTRANCE IN THE PROGRAM?
We do not accept sex-offenders.
Individuals with a violent background are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Potential residents who are prescribed narcotic medications
cannot be accepted.
Residents must be comfortable with our programs being faith-based.
Do You Help Residents Find Employment?
We help point residents in the direction of potential employers. Most of the work is done online as we have lists of employers who will hire people with “colorful pasts.”
What is Faith-based?
All of our meetings are based on the 12 Steps. We also provide the opportunity for participants to attend Iron Horse Fellowship Church on Sundays.
